Welcome to the online home of Wakefire, Michigan’s most dynamic Celtic Rock band.

Do you enjoy the lilt of the Old World with a rockin’ new beat? That’s Wakefire’s bread and butter, but we don’t stop there – we’ll soon have you dancing to our own mix of Celtic Rock, Baroque Pop, Americana, folk rock, and what we have coined Bohemian Cabaret . . .  and we’ll add a dash of pop culture for the nerds in the audience because we like you folks.

We take an unorthodox approach to tradition. Built upon the combined experience of our members, we began to transform the old songs into something new. As we venture into our own, Wakefire has found a unique combination of tight rhythms, stacked harmonies and a driving energy to tell stories and create a unique musical experience not to be missed. Defying any traditional genre, we hope to share with you something you haven’t seen or heard before. We welcome you to our Cabaret!

You can find us playing to close crowds at Celtic and Renaissance festivals or on full rock stages for audiences of thousands. We’ll also be happy to rock the night away with you at your private event – check out our contact page, we’re always happy to hear from you!
