It’s the middle of August and it feels like we’re already moving at full speed. Except we’re pushing the gas pedal further into the floor and I think we kicked in the afterburners too!

This weekend marks the start of the Michigan Renaissance Festival. Once again we return to the stage at the Guinness Pub. We’ll be doing 4 shows a day starting around 11:15 AM and then you’ll also likely see us do a number at Pub Sing before close. Pub sing will be on the Green Grove stage up front again this year. True, it’s not a pub, but it does have more space for performers and audience and overall makes for a better venue for the sing.

For the first two weekends, we’ll be sharing the stage with our friends in Lads on the Lash. They are a very fun and talented group out of Ohio. Please do come check them out while they visit our faire, and tell them we sent you!

This year, we will not be performing at the festival during Labor Day weekend, September 2-4. Instead, we’ll be performing at DragonCon in Atlanta, GA. To give you an idea about this event, if you’re not familiar: Take a Comic-Con, Sci Fi Con, Anime Con, and a Media Con, add in a raft of actors, artists, musicians, writers and cosplayers, invite 80K of your closest friends, mash that all together, spread it across 5 hotels in downtown Atlanta, and you’ll start to appreciate the size of the event. We will be appearing on the main stage Thursday night at 11pm and on the concourse stage Saturday afternoon at 1pm. We’ll also have a merch table set up for the run of the con. In our spare time I’m sure we’ll be wandering, exploring and possibly fanboy/fangirl squeeing over some of our favorite stars! We certainly won’t be sleeping!
